You Will:

This is much more than just a typical engineering position. This is an opportunity for you to challenge your engineering talents by building something new, sharing expertise, adopting innovations contributed by other engineering teams and improving our bottom line. As a senior engineer you will help Roblox Marketplace to be web3 ready and support billions of items and transactions to happen both on the blockchain and Roblox.

• Develop web3 solutions and integrate them with existing Roblox tech stack across Roblox.
• Support millions of interactions at scale.
• Help decide the future of web3 in Roblox and the nature of our web3 solution.
• Lead design and architecture discussions and mentor junior engineers
• Help recruit future talent for the team

You Have:

• Demonstrated skills in compiled languages like Java, C++, C#, Go and Solidity
• Designed/built large-scale distributed micro-services architectures and have experience in web3 specially in smart contracts and layer1/layer 2 solutions.
• Knowledge with REST, API design patterns, and scalable containerized systems and micro-services
• Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL or other database technology at scale
• 4+ years of backend engineering experience
• Experienced with a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent professional experience) in Computer Science or related engineering field.
