Because the market they are in is influencer and talent market.
And also, many entrepreneur and capitalist earn more then that.
Many athletes put in the many efforts from they are very young. It is quiet so hard thing.
And they retire so early, many not-so-famous athletes suffer from life from retirement.
There are many fans, people who loves sports. They give many special moments to their fan.
I think it worth it. But to be frankly, I don't like sports, so I don't understand the situation sincerely.
